Admiral has built the first Silent sailing yacht in 2014 – Admiral Silent 24 (in another system -76). The shipyard has no plans to expand the range – this model will be the only one.
Exterior and interior design
Designed by Jacques Faro and Debenedetti & Fiordi, the 23-meter motorcycle saloon looks futuristic thanks to the rigid cockpit roof with partial glazing. Remarkable is the passage to the sunbathing areas on the tank and roof of the saloon through the steps surrounding the cockpit.
The Silent yard’s engine sisters are matched by two 150hp engines, which give the composite boat a speed of up to 13 knots from a ton of water and fuel. There is also a bathing platform, dinghy garage, retractable windlass with anchor and other «chips».
Amenities on board
The interiors are another element inherited from motor yachts. With standard finishes in onyx, leather and eucalyptus with steel accents, the impression of a nightclub interior is created. It’s all about relaxation and fun. The boat can accommodate 8 guests and two crew members in a separate area for staff.
Features
The name of the line is not accidental: the insulation system used on motor yachts ensures that there is no noise or vibration even at full speed. In general, Silent 24 is positioned as a family yacht for relaxation with friends and can be customised to the owner’s wishes.
Swimming area
Certified to RINA and MCA standards, the 23-meter boat is theoretically capable of much. But is it worth putting yourself through this kind of test – what if the champagne runs out?
