The Spirit 37 was the first yacht built by the newly created company in 1993 and was named after the then nameless shipyard. The ideas behind the yacht were repeatedly transformed into the Spirit 37 Mk II and Mk III until the company finally decided to stop production in order to focus on larger boats. However, the barrage of orders was such that the 37th was put back on stream.
The Spirit 37 Mk III is now available in two versions: The 37 and 37D, where the D is a day-racer, overloaded with sails and an extremely lightweight version for coastal racing. The heavier and more comfortable cruising version, with its reduced sail area, has a small deckhouse below deck with a couple of berths, a small galley and a chemical toilet. At the owner’s request (and almost every Spirit yacht is an individual product), the interior trim and equipment can be almost anything.
