A versatile luxury yacht for sea cruising with excellent speed qualities. Comfortable to cruise alone, with friends or kids, the Revelation 48 can even be handled on its own.
Exterior and Interior Design
Discovery Revelation 48 is the first yacht in the Discovery Group’s range of low saloon models. The hull and interior of the boat are borrowed from the Southerly range of models. But instead of the lifting keel, which have boats Southerly, Revelation 48 is completed with a fixed false keel in the form of a fin. Discovery Revelation 48 retains a luxurious, quality brand image. The low saloon combined with a single level interior offers plenty of natural light and more interior space.
Amenities on board
The layout is quite unusual and demonstrates the shipyard’s ability to be creative about customization. For example, in one of the options, the owner’s suite is located forward and includes a V-shaped sofa in the bow itself, as well as a queen-size bed offset to starboard. The guest cabin in this version is also spacious and located at the stern. There are other (more classic) layout options with a master stateroom aft. The galley, unlike the Southerly 48, which was the basis of this model, is built on the same level as the cabin but is visually separated from the rest of the salon.
Features
The yacht is equipped with two forward sails on twists, the mainsail is curled into the mast. Two steering nibs provide stability on course and ease of control during rolls. The presence of an automatic stacker is also very useful for small crews. At the stern, there are bulk storage lockers for storing sails or sports equipment.
Swimming area
Discovery Revelation 48 is a reliable cruise boat for ocean crossings. The optional, shorter keel will allow you to get closer to shore and shallower coves. Mediterranean, Azores, Caribbean, Hawaii – all water areas are open for this boat.
