Company history
The Polish Viko Yachts brand is owned by Navikom, a company founded in 1987 in Poznan by the famous yachtsman Andrzej Koschel. The Viko Group’s business area has now expanded to include environmental energy. But the development and production of sailing yachts remains at the heart of the business. During the first decade of work the company has been looking for its niche, experimenting with designs and developing production technology.
The real success came in 2004 with the launch of the Viko 20, which has become a real hit of fast sales.
Within a few years, the company was able to sell more than 1000 boats of this design. In the last decade Viko has been actively cooperating with the famous Italian designer Sergio Lupoli from SLYD Studio. The result of this collaboration is the flagship of Viko S22 and Viko S35, which have become bestsellers on the market.
