The yachts proudly named Winner are the decoration of a popular class of sports cruisers. They successfully perform in regattas and are suitable for long sea trips with comfort.
The history of the company
The Dutch shipyard Winner Yachts was founded in 1986 by Riet Vader and Dick Rus. The brand quickly became known for the successful sports design of the Winner 9.50 model. From its foundation to the present day, the company has worked with the legendary Van De Stadt Design. Perhaps this is why, despite the small model range, Winner boats have been repeatedly nominated for the prestigious European Yacht of the Year award. The company has changed owners several times. In 2005 it was taken over by Remco Sol and in 2017 was bought by Christoph Becker and Henning Neumann, owners of Nordic Yachting, which was the brand’s dealer in Germany for 12 years.

Production .
Originally the shipyard was located in the Dutch town of Einhausen (Enkhuizen). In 2015, the company moved to Medemblik. The new site is located in the largest yacht building cluster, close to many specialist workshops and industry-leading companies such as Contest.
Winner belongs to the category of small shipyards. The number of permanent staff is about ten people. Volume of manufacture no more than 20 boats in a year. Despite the modest size of the company, most of the hull production and interior decoration operations are carried out in-house.
Reinforced housings are based on high quality isophthalic resins resistant to osmosis. The deck has a sandwich structure and is rigidly fastened to the hull, increasing the torsional strength.
Model range
In its 30-year history Winner Yachts has produced several models of high quality sailing yachts from 8 to 12 meters in length. The boats are sporty and have been designed with a high degree of durability. Till 2017 all models corresponded to seaworthiness class A (without limitations of navigation region). The new owners of the shipyard have slightly changed the philosophy of the brand, focusing on the most popular segment. The company currently produces 3 models: Winner 8, Winner 8 Performance and Winner 9. The eight-meter models are only certified in class B.

The steel keel base is laminated in the bottom and has a standard mounting size for easy replacement of the keel. Taking into account racing needs, the yachts are equipped with a large number of quality deck fittings.
