History of the company
Regina af Vindö was founded in the heart of the Swedish yachting industry on the northern tip of the island of Urust. Launched in 1972, a small family business builds boats with Nordic architecture – an elevated salon and central cockpit. Among Regina’s connoisseurs, they are highly regarded for their thoughtful design, exceptional quality, robust construction and good sailing behaviour.
At the end of 2017 the company merged with Sweden Yachts, Malö Yachts and CR Yachts into the Sweden Yachts Group.
Status .
Shipbuilder Regina nowadays started to actively increase its influence and dealer network. Contracts were concluded with sellers in the Netherlands, Denmark and Turkey.
Production .
After the merger with the Sweden Yachts Group, the company shut down its own factory and transferred production with all employees to Malö shipyard in Kungswicken. Regina was able to preserve the traditions that had been established. As many years ago, most production processes are carried out manually and quality is maintained at a high level.
Model lineup
The company offers rather expensive sailboats prepared for severe northern latitudes in the range from 10 to 15 meters. Regina builds cruising yachts with central cockpit and sports cruising models.
Features .
A very important point is that over the years used Regina yachts have hardly dropped in price. And one more interesting detail – the firm almost does not conduct an advertising campaign, considering that quality of its production speaks for itself.
Regina af Vindö does not seek to conquer the market with quantity, but rather with quality, carefully tailoring each unit and not saving on materials.
