From the CNB website: CNB (Construction Navale Bordeaux) was founded by Dieter Gust and Olivier Lafourcade on the right bank of the Garonne River, on the site of the former Chantiers et Ateliers du Sud-Ouest, which among other things, built the 5-masted France II in 1911 (at the time, the largest combined sail-and-engine powered ship ever built).
CNB and Solaris Yachts (IT) announced a merger in 2021 with integration taking place in 2022. After which production of the CNB 66 and 76 will be at the Solaris manufacturing facility.
