History of the company
Behind the sailing brand C-Yacht stands the shipyard Zaadnoordijk Yachtbuilders, named after its founder. In 1947, Rinus Zaadnoordijk opened a small marina in Eitgesta. With the support of his family, he built and repaired boats. Initially Zaadnoordijk built small sailing and fishing boats from wood. He was one of the first in the county to use fibreglass. Demand was high enough, he had to look for new areas for production. In 1968 such a place was found in Heerenveen near the big and deep canal. This was how a shipyard was founded, the capacity of which allowed to establish mass production. Since then the company has produced more than 7000 ships. All these years Zaadnoordijk’s main goal was safety and high quality of boats.
The current owner of the shipyard, Jan Muller, has remained committed to these principles. Each vessel is built with the knowledge of experienced yachtsmen.
All yachts are manufactured as custom yachts.
All customer wishes are fulfilled and this requires great attention to detail.

The C-Yacht boats have a classic exterior style, are reliable and certified in Class A – World Ocean. C-Yachts are designed for a small crew and are easy to handle. The sandwich deck construction provides extra rigidity along with good acoustic and thermal insulation. Two bulkheads at the bow of the hull guarantee its shock resistance. The diesel tanks are made of stainless steel as well as the rudder main parts. The yachts are equipped, among other things, with a lifting keel. The company gives a ten-year warranty on osmosis resistance, keel construction and hull-deck connection.
