Founded by Martin Broom (owner of Broom Boats – still in business as of 2006) and four other businessmen in order to built fiberglass hulls and decks for Broom and other boat manufacturers. In 1971, Broom aquired a controlling interest in the company. As of 2008 the company was still in business as a builder of fiberglass hulls and decks mostly for motoryachts.
