Leonardo da Costa Sayago

Born in Portugal but has spent most of his career in the UK. Studied Naval Archecture at Sunderland University and first worked for Camper and Nicholson. In 1969, after only three years with C&N, he decided to open his own design firm. Designed a number of very popular pocket cruisers including the SANDPIPER 565, SAILFISH 18 and OS 19, (the latter built in Sweden).
