George Hinterhoeller, a co-founder of C&C Yachts, and founder of Hinterhoeller Yachts, was also a talented designer. Perhaps the most sucessful of his creations was the SHARK 24 of which many thousands have been built.
The personal drawings and files of George Hinterhoeller can now be found at the Marine Museum of the Great Lakes at Kingston.
