The exterior and interior design…
In 2014, the French Fountaine Pajot introduced the successor to the successful Salina 48, the Saba 50. The cruising sailing catamaran has a modern design and has grown by half a meter in length. The interior has more light due to the panoramic glazing and the flybridge has been designed in detail, which, in addition to the control station, has a spacious recreation area.
Facilities on board…
The areas of the salon and cockpit are approximately equal to each other and create a common space where it will be pleasant to hide from the scorching sun. For outdoor relaxation, there is plenty of room at the bow and flybridge. The control post has been moved closer to starboard, making it a little difficult to see when mooring.
Features
In order not to have to constantly use the generator, the manufacturer has prudently installed solar panels on the roof. Of course, for the air conditioning their capacity will be small, but enough for the refrigerator and control systems.
The Fountaine Pajot Saba 50 is designed for a wide audience. The catamaran is available with four, five and six cabins, making it ideal for private use as well as chartering services.
Swimming area
The catamaran is perfect for going out to the ocean and for big journeys, especially considering the possibility to take almost a ton of fuel with you.
