The versatile Oceanis 38.1 cruiser is a compact size for small company cruising. Suitable for both long distance cruising and short coastal cruises.
Exterior and interior design
The model was created by the community of architects and designers Finot-Conq and Nauta Yachts.
Amenities on board
The living area is filled with natural light thanks to ceiling hatches and side windows. All versions of the model have identical double doors in the main bulkhead, which combine the forward cabin with the interior space. Aft there is a choice of two double cabins or one larger cabin and additional storage space. The galley is available in two versions: either an L-shape on the port side or a linear type on the starboard side. The salon is equipped with one or two sofas.
Features
Beneteau Oceanis 38.1 uses the body of its predecessor, the Oceanis 38, with its wide transom and pronounced cheekbones. The two steering nibs provide a stable ride and make handling easier. In this size, the functionality tends to outweigh the possibilities for personalization, but the Oceanis 38.1 stands out with its wide range of options. Popular features include a cockpit arch, which keeps the geek-scotch in a safe area and acts as a support for spray and bimini. The folding aft platform is convenient for swimming from the board and launching the ace.
Swimming area
The yacht is certified, among other things, for ocean sailing. Depending on the water area in which the boat is used, three keel variants are available, including a deep T-shaped with a bulb, short «fin» and a pivot centreboard.
