Exterior and Interior Design

The Dufour 56 aft cockpit sailing boat has a rich history behind it. The French shipyard first built a vessel with such an LOA in 1992, and Mortain/Mavrikios designed it.

Some 22 years later, in 2014, Felci Yachts created the  560 Grand Large for Dufour. In 2016 it transcended into a Dufour 56 model in the new Exclusive range, which the shipyard introduced at the boat show in Genoa.

The rapid hull of the predecessor with its cheekbone in the stern and the typical geometry didn't change. Still, in many ways, the yacht got better. The consoles and tools have become more comfortable. The layout went through an upgrade.

Moreover, there's a lounge on the roof, and the cockpit is now protected on all sides. As a result, it's easy to spend time comfortably in this zone, where there's a grill, a sink, and a fridge. The dinghy platform is one metre wide and gives access to the garage.

The well-lit salon has retained the layout. In other words, the dining table is well located, while to the starboard, there's a sofa, a retractable TV and a navigating table. The galley is closer to the bow.

Amenities on board

The Dufour 56 Exclusive offers layouts with either 4 or 5 cabins, in some of them, the captain's cabin has a separate entrance. Likewise, the master stateroom is tailorable. In short, it comes with a centre bed and a private bathroom. Or with a bed on the port side, a sofa in front and an en-suite behind the headboard.

Features of Dufour 56

The Dufour 56 Exclusive eliminates the stereotypes of smaller boats, justifying its detailed work. It is worth remembering that this is a production boat, and the price is likely competitive.

Cruising area

The Dufour 56 Exclusive with 440 litres of fuel for a 110 hp engine (optional - 150) and 680 litres of water is capable of short offshore voyages.
