Dufour 390 Overview

The Dufour 390 Grand Large premiered in Cannes in the autumn of 2018, following the title of European Yacht of the Year next year.

Exterior and interior design

This model turned out to be the first independent development of the Dufour brand since joining Fountaine Pajot. Such an important task required collaboration with the shipyard's long-term partner, the designer Umberto Felci, who previously created the Grand Large model line.

However, this sailing boat is not a development of the 382nd model. On the contrary, the hull, the layout of the cockpit and the interior are brand new. The look of the Dufour 390, in the meantime, is similar to the Exclusive range. That is to say, the same high boards, bulwarks, impressive portholes and the clean deck. There's also a voluminous cockpit for six people, enlarged space for the helm, a grill aft and a decent bathing platform. Inside, the abundance of light is enhanced by optional light finishes. LED lighting, USB connectors and smart electronics are everywhere.

Amenities on board

For some, the three-cabin version, with two sofas amidships, will seem too compact, leaving small space for the galley and depriving one of the en-suite bathrooms. That is why, as an option, comes the version with three bathrooms, an acceptable galley and one sofa. Either a layout with just two cabins for those who travel with fewer people onboard.

Features of Dufour 390

Innovative details, and optimised technical solutions. Its LED illumination will probably surprise no one, although nice to have onboard a sailing boat.

Cruising area

The Dufour 390 allows for relaxation well under sail or in the berth. The Dufour 390 family or charter is perfect for short sailing trips along the shoreline.
